Sanongnuch is the second Sunseeker luxury motor yacht that Yacht Refit Asia has painted at Ocean Marina. The Captain contacted our company after he and the owner of Sanongnuch approached their Sunseeker management company Max Marine Asia Co., Ltd.
Craig Murphy, Managing Director of Max Marine Asia was tasked with recommending the best in the business to paint Sanongnuch and he explained how Yacht Refit Asia had transformed a Sunseeker Manhattan 52 after being competently re-painted by our expert paint team. They particularly liked the idea of painting the topsides of the hull in jet black like the Manhattan 52 with the addition of a bright red style line.
The radar arches were also painted jet black and an extra works order was raised to paint the radar domes black with the addition of a red style line.
Sunseeker Manhattan yachts come in a range of sizes. The Manhattan 73 is a rather stylish motor yacht with an exhilarating maximum speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots with a maximum range of 325 nautical miles. The flybridge is worthy of mention as it’s a very well designed eye-catching centrepiece of the yacht and is beautifully laid out. Up to 8 guests can be comfortably accommodated on the lower deck. For this project, we applied Awlgrip 545 primer and Awlcraft 2000 topcoats. The red style line topcoats were applied first after the topsides primer was completed. The jet black topcoats were then applied. When the masking was removed the painted surface of the style line and topsides was visibly flat.
The owner, his wife and Captain were absolutely delighted with the results and as you can see in the testimonial we surpassed their expectations giving a new lease of life and a stunning overall look to Sanongnuch.
